My husband caught me smiling in the shower.

He said, “You never smile!” I don't know why I was smiling... I was just so happy!

Gosh, I love hearing these joyful client stories.

She and I, we’ve both come a long way.

I’ve been that person who’s forgotten what it’s like to smile regularly. I’ve given the dirty looks, let out the exasperated sighs. Stormed off in a huff, trinkets rattling on shelves in the wake of my slamming doors.

Running on fumes, with a fuse so short, I just didn’t have the capacity to even consider being kind - not to myself and definitely not to the precious people around me.

I needed to find a way home to myself, to get back to being that person who smiles - spontaneously in the shower.

You may recognize that as the title of my book, and good eye, you’re spot on. I called my book Smiling in the Shower: The Swift Simple Way to Break Through Burnout and Create Happy Energized Days because of this 👆incredible client story.

What’s the big deal, you’re wondering? Well… for this person that shower smile was a micro marker of the massive change she experienced after having a brain-based coaching breakthrough.

And you may think smiling in the shower is a silly thing to want…and you may be right… unless you know what it actually means. And I know, because I figured out a way to make it happen easily and consistently, not just for me but for my clients as well.
